Marisa and Pavel’s wedding in Stinson Beach, California
Some couples just make sense together, and Marisa and Pavel are one of those rare pairs who seem to have been destined for each other. Both scientists and lovers of the natural world and all its mysteries, the universe sighed in relief when the ocean king met the natural hot spring queen. The pair has built a relationship that feels deeply thoughtful, delightfully curious, and entirely their own. In perhaps the most them detail imaginable, the couple who met while working at NASA independently came up with the idea to get meteorite rings – and even more fittingly, they had both secretly planned to propose to each other on the very same day, with Pavel just barely beating Marisa to the punch.
Marisa and Pavel chose the perfect venue in Stinson Beach. The theme was tide pool disco and there were little nods to the great big blue everywhere. The celebration was full of stunning wildflowers, brilliant and warm-hearted people, oceanside magic, and an eclectic energy that reflected the couple perfectly. The whole weekend felt playful, personal, and overflowing with the kind of joy that happens when two wonderfully nerdy, deeply sweet people find exactly the right match in each other.
